[00:00:00] Hello and welcome to Tools to Create a Better Life with myself, Glenyce Hughes. Thank you so much for being here. I am so incredibly grateful for you.

[00:00:10] Now, if you’re watching this on video, you will see a beautiful scenery behind me. I am at Land’s End, which is the most southerly west point in England. Apparently if you just kept going that way, you would run into Canada. So, there’s nothing between us. I mean, I’m sure there’s lots but in terms of land, it’s kind of a cool place to be at.

[00:00:33] It’s also extremely beautiful. If I could get down closer, I would. However, it’s not so safe to do that so, here we are. And if you’re not watching this on video, of course, you can find it on video or you could just listen to those waves. I’m hoping my microphone will pick them up for you.

[00:00:54] Tools to Receive Even More. Yeah. As you guys know, we’ve been traveling around England for a few weeks now. It’s about mid-October at time of recording. I know this won’t air until the end of October, but we have been going to all sorts of different places and really just being there.

[00:01:20] It’s not always been easy. It certainly has been ease, though. For more about that, you might wanna check out last week’s show ’cause I shared a lot about choosing ease with all of this.

[00:01:33] One of the things that I haven’t really spoke about—I have put on social media and I did send out an email with a little bit about it—was that shortly before we left, we actually had to say goodbye to our sweet kitty, Totty, which was very difficult.

[00:01:49] It was really this space of letting her choose. She had got pancreatitis again. This is something both her and Gromit, her brother that we had to put down a couple years ago, would get every once in a while and… yeah. With that, we’ve been talking for years about when she’s no longer with us. Now, I never, ever expected that “no longer with us” would be so soon. She was only 11, so [we] kind of expected at least five or six more years with her.

[00:02:29] With this and her going before we left, when we got here, one of the things that we’ve been talking about for a long time is to sell everything at home and just travel the world house sitting or pet sitting or just travel the world. Just have kind of no home, no nothing that we have to be aware of with those sorts of things. And so we got here, and we started looking at, well, what if it’s now? What if it’s now?

[00:03:05] Part of this to me, receiving from everything is also receiving Totty’s choice in going now. Not receiving it meaning I’m okay with it and I’m happy about it. Not that, but just the willingness to actually receive it. Just to be present with it. One day I’ll tell the whole story of the magic. Just not today ’cause we won’t get very far and I will just be crying. But one day I will tell the magic of all of that. But really, just receiving it.

[00:03:36] One of the things that I do—one of the tools that I use to receive even more is “barriers down, barriers down, barriers down… all levels, layers, lifetimes, universes, realities, barriers down.” I energetically push the barriers down.

[00:03:52] So, say with something like Totty and choosing to say goodbye to her. Afterwards, I could go into all this crazy about it like, “Oh, what if she… what if I didn’t…” like that. All of those are barriers. All of those are walls up to actually receiving, just receiving it. Receiving doesn’t mean making it good or bad, or right or wrong. That’s actually judgment. So, just receiving it.

[00:04:21] And so what I would recognize–there’s a helicopter going over top–is that when I wasn’t receiving it, when I was going into the inventions and the stories and the upset, I would go to barriers down, barriers down, barriers down and really energetically push those barriers down and receive it. Just receive it.

[00:04:43] You know, we can use this in all sorts of things ’cause there could be situations in your life where, you know, maybe you had an upset with somebody years ago and you still play with the crazy of it, or the inventions, or the stories of it. What if you just took a moment and dropped those barriers and received it?

[00:05:00] But please remember, receiving is not making it right or wrong, or good or bad. That’s where a lot of times, especially with what I’ve done in the past – for years before Access Consciousness®, I played a lot with the law of attraction, which was a lot of, at least the way I was doing it, a lot of making things right and good and bad and wrong. The bad and wrong you were supposed to push away or pretend weren’t there, and the right and good you were supposed to, you know, make really significant. At least that’s how I did it. I don’t mean that’s how everybody’s doing it, but that’s how I did it.

[00:05:30] And so, [it’s] really recognizing that when we receive something, we actually just receive it with no judgment whatsoever. It’s not right. It’s not wrong. It’s not good. It’s not bad. It’s just is, and there’s so much space with that. There’s so much space with that.

[00:05:48] Especially at the time when I was at home with Totty and in the time before the vet was arriving, just receiving it. And then after the vet left, just receiving it. Again, it was a lot of through tears, absolutely, and there’s been many since. [There] might even be something here now.

[00:06:11] Tears aren’t right or wrong or good or bad. Tears are, a lot of times, it’s our body’s way of releasing what we’ve stored, what we’ve, in a sense, kind of bottled up and brought a bunch of barriers around us, so to speak. Sometimes people will go, “Oh no, I’m not conscious. I’m crying ’cause so-and-so died” or whatever. That’s not unconscious. That’s just allowance. It’s okay to be sad and it’s okay to have tears. There’s no right or wrong or good or bad. Ultimately, there’s no right or wrong or good or bad.

[00:06:49] In grieving, there is nothing. There’s nothing to say what grieving should be or shouldn’t be, or the right way to grieve or the wrong way to. There’s nothing. You just gotta be in allowance of it and receive it. Receive it.

[00:07:04] So, tool number one is the barriers down I’ve been using a lot. The other tool that I’ve been using, and this isn’t so much related to Totty and saying goodbye to her sweet body. This is more just as we’ve been going around England.

[00:07:19] At some times, it’s like, ugh, you know, I’m kind of done living out of a suitcase and the tiny roads and all this. It kind of gets like, “Oh, I’m just done with this,” and so what I ask is, “What gratitude could I be here?” Not what gratitude could I be for England or for Rodney, which is Hubby for anybody who hasn’t heard his real name, but I usually call him “Hubby”. [It’s] not for something or someone, but what gratitude can I be here? What gratitude can I be here?

[00:07:51] Man, I’ll tell you what. That, to me at least, has been shifting my receiving of whatever it is, you know? If it is driving in the car and going down a little tiny road and it’s just, oh my… what gratitude can I be here? It’s like, “Oh… yeah,” and it just shifts everything.

[00:08:11] I don’t have to define it. I don’t have to to figure out what gratitude I can be here. I just get to be gratitude in that moment, which truly, how does it get any better than that? It’s that energy.

[00:08:24] To me, it’s the energy of… us. We BE gratitude. We BE walking, talking, energetic, gratitude, and a lot of times what we’re doing is we’re separating. We’re making things right and wrong and good and bad, and then we’re separating, and then there’s no space for gratitude. You can’t have gratitude and judgment in the same spot. It’s one or the other.

[00:08:47] Those are the two so far we’ve talked about. Barriers down. What gratitude can I be here? The other thing with receiving is the tool that I talk about all the time. You’re gonna listen to me talk about it all the time if you listen to me talk. It’s the “interesting point of view.”

[00:09:03] Because when we’re not receiving, we’re having an interesting point of view. We’re choosing to be not interesting point of view. We’re choosing to have a judgment. We’re choosing to have a point of view. And so, we can’t receive and have a point of view at the same time.

[00:09:20] If I decide that this is bad weather… actually it’s been phenomenal weather. But if I say this is bad weather [and] it should be sunshine-y, it shouldn’t have rained this morning when there was a sunrise or, I mean, there wasn’t a sunrise. It wasn’t a pretty colored sky sunrise because it rained. That shouldn’t have happened…. then all of those energies that I could be receiving from, I’ve now put up those barriers to once again.

[00:09:46] If we just go into every point of view with interesting point of view, even that – this is beautiful weather, that can be a point of view. Sometimes it’s an awareness, but sometimes it’s a point of view because if you get the energetic hit on it, if I’m going, “Well, this is beautiful weather,” it can also have the energy of if it wasn’t like this, it would be bad type of thing, you know?

[00:10:08] We wanna just always be aware of our energy when we are doing these things because that will give you more information, especially for those of us that have played with the tools from Access Consciousness® for a while. Oh boy, ’cause wow. We can really use the tools, in a sense, against us. We can really be in this space of like, “Wow, yeah. It’s such a no point of view type of day today.” I mean, I’m being silly, but you get the idea where we can say the right words, but energetically they don’t match.

[00:10:44] We always want to pay attention energetically to where we are when we’re talking, when we’re thinking, when we’re out and about. Where are we energetically? Is it light and expansive and yummy, or is it heavy and contractive? If it’s heavy and contractive, we’re not receiving.

[00:11:00] Using any of those three tools: dropping the barriers, interesting point of view, I have this point of view, or what gratitude can I be? Yeah. What gratitude can I be? I just love that one so much.

[00:11:14] Gratitude is actually one of the elementals. I’ve done various classes on elementals. We’ll put a link to some of them below, above, wherever the links may be, and in the show notes too. Of course, if you want to check those out, it’s so amazing. Working with and creating magic with the elementals and what’s actually possible? Yeah.

[00:11:34] So have a great week, sweet friends, and I look forward to chatting again next week.

[00:00:00] Hello and welcome to Tools to Create a Better Life  with myself, Glenyce Hughes. Thank you so much for being here. I am so incredibly grateful for you.

[00:00:10] Now, if you’re watching this via video, you will see beautiful ocean waves behind me. If you’re listening to this, you’ll probably hear them. I didn’t check, but I’m pretty sure you could hear them. This is the Bristol Channel. I am in Esplanade, Porthcawl. I’m not sure how to say it. It is a beautiful part of Wales. Just over there is Cornwall, so this is England, and… yeah.

[00:00:43] We have been having such an adventure here in the last, gosh, I think 10 or 11 or 12 days? I’m not even sure how many days that I’ve been here. We started up in, well, we landed in London and then we went up to Newcastle, which is north England on the East coast. And then [we] went to Liverpool, which is on the West Coast, and then drove down through Wales. It’s just so beautiful here, guys. If you ever have the desire and the chance, come and check it out.

[00:01:18] What have I learned so far on this #asifbymagic Tour of England? Now, some of you may know that I haven’t traveled for about three years. It’s been a while since I’ve got on an airplane and packed and done all the things. This is almost feeling like it’s brand new.

[00:01:41] Some of the things that I have learned so far is, probably the biggest one, ease, joy, and glory are a choice. Yes. You actually have to choose them. These tools that I share from Access Consciousness® and the mantra that we use in Access Consciousness® is:

“All of life comes to me with ease, joy, and glory. All of life comes to me with ease, joy, and glory.”

Saying that 10 times in the morning and 10 times at night, and any time throughout the day when you’re not choosing it, it can change everything. It’s so incredible.

[00:02:23] I didn’t actually really realize how much of a choice it was until this trip. This trip has been amazing, and there has been times and places and spaces, like when we got to London… I should back up a little bit.

[00:02:43] One, we had no official plans of where we were going to stay. We landed September 30th. We knew October 1st was a train strike. Our plan, initially, was to get to London and then on the next day, take the train up to Newcastle. We knew they were gonna have a strike so we thought, “Okay, well, we’ll figure it out when we get there.”

[00:03:14] What we did was we went to the train station, Victoria Train Station, from the airport and then just went, “All right. Well, let’s find a hotel,” and found one fairly close. The thing is, and I mean, we’ve stayed in London many times, this is not new to me, but holy hell, my sweet friends. It was the smallest room that I think I’ve ever stayed in with two large suitcases.

I do have it on my photos on Facebook, so we’ll put a link somewhere so you can check them out.

[00:03:49] In a very small bed for Hubby and I, we really appreciate our king size bed. It was just so funny. It was so ease, joy, and glory. It was so ease, joy, and glory because I chose ease, joy, and glory.

[00:04:06] What occurred for me was every time that I wasn’t choosing ease, joy, and glory, I would just really become aware of that like something poking me in the eye. That’s how uncomfortable it was, which was interesting because I’ve never experienced that before where it was so clear that the discomfort of not choosing ease, joy, and glory was so uncomfortable.

[00:04:35] I still really don’t have words for it, but it was so cool because in those moments as I walk into the room and go, “Oh my God.” There’s not choosing ease, joy, and glory and it was just like, “Oh, ick.”

[00:04:48] I couldn’t change the room. What could I change was basically to choose ease, joy, and glory. It’s like, “Okay,” and Hubby was super tired, so he just basically laid down on the bed and went to sleep. It was about three in the afternoon, local times. I went down to the lobby. They had a nice big lobby, so I went down to the lobby for, I don’t know, three or four hours and just did computer stuff and such and just chose ease, joy, and glory.

[00:05:17] It wasn’t a force. That was the really cool thing. I wasn’t having to force myself to choose it. It was recognizing when I wasn’t, and then choosing something different.

[00:05:27] I’m just checking the water. It’s getting in a little close here, so just checking, you know? I don’t really wanna be getting wet. All right.

[00:05:40] That choice of just choosing it, like recognizing when I wasn’t choosing it and then just choosing it because choosing it is so much more magical. Choosing it was… it just changed everything.

[00:05:54] I know it might sound really bizarre, especially if some of you have got this before, I really did not realize how much of a choice it was. You guys know, I’ve been playing with these tools for 11 years. I have been choosing ease, joy, and glory and not getting wet. Okay.

[00:06:15] All right. We had to move because the waves are getting in quite a bit closer. We’ll see. I might have to go up top to finish this.

[00:06:24] I invite you to come play. I still have the #asifbymagic Tour of England going on. We’ve got two classes coming up in Margate, Kent, and then of course, two evening classes in London, and then the Business Done Differents. So, come and play. I would so love to hug you or have you online. All the classes are available online, too. So, hope to see you soon!

[00:06:51] That’s really the biggest thing that I would’ve learned so far on this whole trip is the choice of ease, joy, and glory. The other thing that I learned, which I’m not sure that I really actually was aware of for myself, but how much I decided what good was and what bad was and what right was and what wrong was. The amount of judgment, I guess, is probably the best way to put it, that I had of when things went the way that I thought they should, compared to when things just went, you know?

[00:07:35] When we got to London, it was kind of, “Well, what if we just get on a train and go straight to Newcastle?” Like, that day? It just wasn’t. It was just wasn’t. I talked to a guy about it and there was just not the energy for it.

[00:07:50] And so really looking at it from a whole different space of what if that’s not what it needs to be? What if that’s not the, say, the magic? But because it was, in a sense, what I’d already decided it should be, then it would’ve been magical if that would’ve occurred. And because it didn’t occur, it wasn’t magical.

[00:08:14] Hopefully, I’m making sense, guys. But it was just this huge awareness that the magic isn’t in getting what you think you want. The magic is in the ability to choose ease, joy, and glory no matter what shows up. That, to me, is where the magic is now.

[00:08:36] Again, this is so new to me and I didn’t realize how much control I used. I’m checking the water again. Okay, I think we’re good. How much control I used for things to turn out the way that I thought that they should and that was the right way, that was the good way, and if they didn’t go that way, that was bad and wrong. I had no clue how much I was doing that and how detrimental really it is to truly living.

[00:09:08] I say detrimental because again, the control, like how much control I had to use to force, to push, to make things occur and call that magic. Hmm hmm. And yet, now, at least today, I can really get the energy of the magic being the ability to choose.

[00:09:37] You know, this is something that Gary Douglas, the founder of Access Consciousness®, he defines magic as your ability to change or choose something different that changes something, basically. That’s it. The willingness to choose ease, joy, and glory, that is magic. When you’re standing in a hotel room that you can’t even turn around in when you’re both standing up in, the ability to choose ease is huge.

[00:10:06] And so the next day, we chose to go to Newcastle. Since the trains weren’t running, we’re like, “Okay, you know what? We’re gonna just take a coach.” That’s a whole different experience. We changed coach in Leeds, and then we arrived there.

[00:10:25] It was just before 9:00 PM local time, and we were to get on a coach at 9:00 PM to go up to Newcastle and be there about 11:30. When we got there, it had been delayed until 11:00, which meant we didn’t actually get there until 1:30 in the morning.

[00:10:41] And again, it was just the choice of ease. There would’ve been a time I would’ve absolutely had a hissy fit. Now, maybe not outwardly. I would never probably, well, I shouldn’t say never, but probably never go up to a train or a coach driver and freak out on him because the coach was delayed. That’s not really what I would do. But in my head, or maybe to Hubby, that’s what I would do.

[00:11:07] It was like, ‘Okay, so it’s delayed. All right.” I did look at what else was possible. I looked at, “Okay, do we just get a hotel here in Leeds and take the rest of the journey the next day? Do we rent a car in Leeds and drive ourself to Newcastle?”

[00:11:23] I looked at all the possibilities and the only one that felt yummy and expansive was to stay and wait. It was. It was awesome. It was a whole different experience than I would normally choose, and it was really, really cool. We got to see lots of interesting people in Leeds on a Saturday night. Lot of interesting stuff going on. And it was ease ’cause I chose it to be ease.

[00:11:52] I know I keep saying that, but honestly, if you can get that… if you can get that you always have another choice, that can change everything. In a lot of different business modality, stuff like that, people will say, you know, what’s your “why”? I’m not necessarily big on what’s your “why” ’cause it takes a lot of definition. When I look at what I do and why I do what I do, that’s it – so that every person can always know there’s always another possibility.

[00:12:33] Every person that would like to know: there’s always another possibility. Many people aren’t interested in knowing that, but for the people who would like to know, that’s what these videos are for. That’s what these radio shows are for. That’s what every class I put on is for. It’s so every person can know there’s always another possibility.

[00:12:51] This is huge, for me personally. This is huge to recognize. There truly is always another possibility with ease, no matter what’s going on.

[00:12:59] Sometimes we can’t change what’s going on around us. Sometimes people we care about get sick. Sometimes people we care about make choices we don’t agree with or whatever the things are. We’re in situations that we can’t necessarily change.

[00:13:12] I can’t change a train strike. I cannot change a train strike. I shouldn’t say I can’t, probably not going to . Recognizing that, then we have that choice. We always have another choice. We have the choice of ease, joy, and glory.

[00:13:29] How does it get any better than this? I have so much to share from this trip, guys. It’s just been freaking amazing and truly, how does it get any better than this?

[00:13:40] For now, I’m gonna say goodbye. Have a wonderful week, and I look forward to sharing more next week.
