[00:00:00] Are you actually receiving from your energetic team? 

 

Hello and welcome to Tools to Create a Better Life with myself, Glenyce Hughes. Thank you so much for being here. I am so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you. Yeah. So, are you receiving from your energetic team? What the heck do I mean by “energetic team”?

 

[00:00:23] Years and years ago, I worked as a professional medium which means I talked to dead people for my clients. Yes, I did it for 10 years. I know. It sounds so long, and it’s probably been a good 10 years or so since I’ve done that. However, I still work with my energetic team in all the ways. 

 

[00:00:46] For me, an energetic team is all of the energies, whatever you wanna call them. Angels, guides, people or loved ones that have died, berries, it doesn’t matter. It’s all the energetic beings that would like to contribute to you. What I see that as is your energetic team. You’ve got a team of energy beings that are cheering you on, that are contributing, that are assisting you to create your life.

 

[00:01:19] Years ago, I used to see my energetic team as my number one. They were more valuable and important than me, so I really let them guide the show. That’s one way. 

 

[00:01:33] Luckily, I now actually guide the show. I’m actually what I call the “CEO of my life,” and they contribute to me. It’s a very different energy. I was very much before being the victim, just sitting back, waiting for them to do the things as though they knew more than me, they knew better than me. 

[00:01:54] Now, I actually know that I know. I actually know that I’m the creator of my life and living and I’m willing to receive from everything, including my energetic team – meaning all of the energies, all of the beings. All of the lightness that would like to contribute, they can contribute, too. I will receive that. I will also gift to them. It’s not like it’s just a one way street. It is truly this gifting and receiving. 

 

[00:02:25] When you look at that, if that’s something you’d like to start adding to your life, then there may be different ways to do that for you.

 

[00:02:33] I know for me, a lot of times it’s an energetic way of being where I’m communicating, but it’s not really communicating. I am communing. I am gifting and receiving with them. I am allowing them to contribute. I’m being present — not all the time but sometimes, most of the time and more than I used to. I’m being present with the information, the awarenesses that are coming in as I’m making choices and following the lightness.

 

[00:03:07] It becomes like, you know, if you were playing baseball and you were the batter, it’s all the other players on the team that are contributing. Maybe some of them are just standing and cheering you on. Maybe some of them are doing some smack talk to the other team or whatever. That sounds really funny, to think about our energetic team doing smack talk to other people. That’s not what I mean, but you get the idea where they’re contributing, but you’re still the one with the bat. 

 

[00:03:39] If you’re willing to receive from them, it is about engaging with them. It is about allowing them, inviting them, all of that. All of that yummy energy where it’s just this continuous flow, gifting, receiving, choosing, following, lightness, and all the things.

 

[00:04:03] For me, sometimes depending on where I’m at with whatever I’m looking for their contribution with, I will actually do a meditation where I’ll just sit quietly, close my eyes, and commune with them. Lots of times when I go to sleep at night, I will invite them in, I will engage with them.

 

[00:04:24] As I’m falling asleep, I really allow them to contribute in whatever way. Sometimes, there’s physical healing that’s going on. Sometimes, there’s information. Sometimes, it’s just a gifting and a receiving, which makes it sounds like it’s lessened, but that’s not what I mean. 

 

[00:04:40] But there’s so many different ways if you’re willing to really, really receive from your energetic team. I use the word “receive,” but it’s like gift and receive. It’s that together. It’s the two together because if you were on that baseball team and you were the one batting but that’s all you did and you didn’t contribute any other way, that’s not gonna be very cool either. It really is this gifting and receiving in whatever way. 

 

[00:05:12] You may want to use meditations. You may want to just find your way. Some people, just by walking in nature has that sense of communion. 

 

[00:05:22] I know when we went on our trip in October of last year when we went for a month to England, I was working with a friend of mine. We were swapping sessions and we were discussing the trip and some of the anxiety, I could say, that I had around flying and all the stuff we hadn’t done for a couple years.

 

[00:05:41] What she said to me, she said, “Okay, what is the energetic being that is going to assist you with this?” 

[00:05:50] As soon as she said that, I saw this really big, beautiful owl. For me, owls have always had a symbolic reference because my grandma used to collect them. She would collect them and I would count them. I mean, they were just figurines. I don’t mean she collected real owls, she didn’t do that. Just figurines. 

 

[00:06:10] Last time I counted, I was probably, I don’t know, 14 or something, and she had over a thousand owl figurines. In fact, as I sit here, I look behind the camera, I can see one of those sitting on my shelf. They’ve always had a symbolic reference for me. 

 

[00:06:26] As soon as I saw that, I was like, oh wow. Okay, cool. It was so amazing how many times the owl showed up in that trip, one of them being right at the airport. I don’t mean that owl showed up. I mean I looked over and there was this big screen in the Calgary airport and there was an owl on it. It just gave me that sense of like, “Okay, yeah, thank you,” and just receiving from the owl in that way. 

 

[00:06:55] Just know that we can gift and receive, that we aren’t here alone, that we aren’t by ourselves, that we do have a whole—I don’t know what we wanna call them, tribe, or group, or huge… I don’t even know what a name would be for it, of these energies that are just cheering us on and contributing and gifting us and receiving and all those things. The more that you are willing to actually receive, the more magic that you can create with them.

[00:08:04] We are gonna talk about your ass. We’re gonna talk about how to utilize that to create magic. We’re gonna talk about, obviously, your energetic team. We’re gonna talk about you being magical for you, too. We’re gonna talk about specific capacities to be magical as fuck, and all the things.
