[00:00:00] Hello and welcome to Tools to Create a Better Life with myself, Glenyce Hughes. Thank you so much for being here. I am so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you. 

 

Owning Your Greatest Capacity. Yeah. The tools, of course, I’m going to share throughout this radio show are from Access Consciousness®. 

 

[00:00:22] Something that we talk about a lot in Access Consciousness® is about acknowledging your capacities, acknowledging your strengths, acknowledging you. 

 

The terminology can show up in different ways in clearings and stuff, and it’s “own, claim, and acknowledge” your capacities. You don’t have to use all those words, of course, but you might have heard it. If you’re familiar, you might have heard it in different clearings like that, where you want to own, and claim, and acknowledge your capacities. 

 

[00:01:00] This morning as I was going through the reference materials, which is something I love to do—the reference materials are pretty much everything that’s ever been in a manual in Access Consciousness® that moves into the reference materials once it’s taken out of that manual. It’s stuff from, gosh, 25 more years ago in some cases, and some is from last week. It’s just everything in between. It’s just so magical. 

 

[00:01:28] I was looking up capacities – something that’s been kind of popping around in my head for a while, and this is what I read. [It] was that our greatest capacity is change.

Everything that just brought up, will you destroy and uncreate it all times a godzillion? Right, wrong, good, bad, all-9, POD, POC, shorts, boys, POVADs, and beyonds.®

[00:01:59] Now, this is something that I never really looked at before in terms of naming a capacity. I actually want to read to you from the reference materials. Gary says, (Gary Douglas, founder of Access Consciousness®): 

 

“A capacity is something you can access, but cannot define. Capacities are anything that you can do or be that will change anyone or anything. Anytime you’re looking for something that is a talent or ability, ask instead: 

 

‘What capacity do I have here?’ 

 

‘What capacity do I have that will change this?’ 

 

‘What capacity do I have that will alter what’s going to show up here?’ 

 

These are primarily energies. If you ask for a capacity, you’ll get an energy, which is not definable.” 

 

[00:02:55] To me, those questions really invite us into the change that is actually possible for us. If you’ve been around here for a while, chances are if you’re listening to this radio show, even if it’s your first time, you choose to change. You choose change on a regular basis, and that’s something that we really want to start owning and claiming and acknowledging. 

 

[00:03:20] Otherwise, what we do is we look at what we haven’t changed and that’s where our focus is. Instead of going, “Wow, look at everything I’ve changed,” we go, “Ugh, I haven’t changed that thing yet” until we change that thing And we still don’t acknowledge it, then it’s going to be another thing, and another thing, and another thing, and what we start doing is we start using these capacities against us.

 

Right, wrong, good, bad, all-9, POD, POC, shorts, boys, POVADs, and beyonds.® 

 

[00:03:51] Again, capacities—I mean, you might hear people say, “I’ve got a capacity with money” or “I’ve got a capacity with bodies” or stuff like that. That’s awesome, too. But for the most part, as Gary says, they’re undefinable. So, it’s our capacities to change. That’s about as much as we can define, so people can have it to, you know, change money things, or to change body things, or a bazillion things. But really looking at it from acknowledging, claiming, and owning your greatest capacity, which is to change. 

 

[00:04:24] You might have had, say, you had an upset in your family and you changed it. Now, of course, with stuff like that, you can only change yourself. I mean, you can attempt to change other people, but for the most part, it’s really about changing your stuff with it. 

 

[00:04:40] The other night—actually, there’s two examples that I want to give and they’re so similar. One was about a week and a half ago. I was doing this thing that I would almost say I wasn’t aware that I was doing. Now, obviously on some level, I was, but it was this judgment of me of not choosing to move my body. 

 

[00:05:08] For a long time, I’ve been moving my body a lot. Prior to that, not really at all. I mean, moving – I mean exercise. We just don’t call it exercise and Access. It’s really about moving often. If we say exercise, it’s kind of got [an] ick to it, so “moving” my body. But of course I move my body every day. I move my body when I do videos, all the things. But really, like, choosing to either go to the gym or go for my runs or all the things and I really hadn’t been choosing them. 

 

[00:05:38] I caught myself, and I’m pretty sure I’d been going on for a while. I caught myself in this really icky judgment about it. When I say “caught myself,” it was like in the background, in my head going on. If I wasn’t being present, it was just going, going, going. I guess at one point I chose to be present with it and just went, “What the hell?” 

 

[00:06:04] One of the ways that I have been choosing change lately is through the 10 Keys to Total Freedom, which is a book by Gary and Dain, founders of Access Consciousness®. We are on chapter four right now. 

 

[00:06:19] I’ve got three tools that I use pretty much continuously for things. The first one is, “Hey, would an infinite being choose this?” Of course, an infinite being would not judge themselves for not choosing to exercise or move their body. So then the next question is “What’s the purpose?” Like, what am I getting out of it?

 

[00:06:38] When I asked that, what I got was this really basic response, I’m going to say, of, “Oh, I want to fit in. Oh, I want to be like everybody else,” and sometimes, those are actually awareness. Sometimes, those are actually the thing. However, in this case, I knew when I said it, it was like, “That’s not it.” It’s a “cool” answer. It’s the most common answer, but it wasn’t an awareness. 

 

[00:07:06] I just spent some time with it. I just got present with it and really got curious, not from I’m wrong, not from I’m bad, really just like curious, like, okay. That voice going on in the back of my head, me judging me continuously – what’s the value? What am I getting out of that? 

 

[00:07:28] What I recognized, and it took probably 5+ minutes of just being present with it, is that I had this really bizarre point of view that shame creates. That if I shame myself enough, I’ll choose something different. Ewww! Can I say [it] again? Ewww! 

 

[00:07:54] Yeah. That was really this level of vulnerability that I… whew. Yeah. I’m so grateful. Looking at that and then—okay, so I’ll finish my story. So I did that. So those are the first two questions. Once I got the purpose, then the next key is “Everything is an Interesting Point of View.” 

 

I just chose to be interesting point of view about that. You know, shame creates – interesting point of view, I have that point of view

 

If I shame myself enough, I’ll choose something different. Interesting point of view, I have this point of view… over and over and over with all the pieces that were there. 

 

[00:08:35] And then, key number three is about Living in 10-second Increments. And so then the question is, “Hey, if I had 10 seconds to live the rest of my life right now, what would I choose?” 

 

[00:08:46] Well, it wouldn’t be shaming me, let me tell you that! It just stopped it. It just stopped it. I’m actually going to rephrase that. I chose to stop it. Once I cleared that really interesting point of view, I chose to stop it. 

 

The really cool thing is two days later, three days—I’m not sure. A few days later, I just picked up my running shoes and went out. It’s like, what? This is that ease? Of course, it’s been 11 years I’ve been using these tools. I know it’s that ease and it still surprises me. 

 

[00:09:26] Fast forward to just the other day, I was doing a very similar energy about some money stuff. Once again, it’d probably been going on for a long time but that moment, I chose to be present with it. 

 

Same thing – okay, would an infinite being choose to judge themself about money? Nope. What’s the purpose? Same thing. “Oh, I get to fit in. I’m like other people.” It’s like, no, that’s not the energy. Present with it, present with it, present with it… Oh my gosh. It was the same energy. It was that shame piece again.

 

[00:10:00] A couple things with this: one, you can have a point of view that is in every area of your life that you may require to clear in different ways. It’s not like once I cleared that point of view a couple weeks ago about moving my body with it, that it cleared everything obviously, ’cause it came up with this other piece. Again, that energy of, like, “Wow I have this point of view that if I shame myself enough about money, I’ll choose something different” or whatever it is, but that energy. 

 

[00:10:34] So, you know, I followed the same steps and then really looking at it when I was reading this stuff about capacities and our greatest capacity to change and really going to, “Wow, I did not acknowledge the change that I chose with that experience with moving my body.” 

 

I mean, I got it and it did change it, obviously, ’cause I’ve been moving my body ever since or exercising or, you know, allowing my body to show me what she would like with movement, but I didn’t truly acknowledge the capacity to change, you know? 

 

[00:11:09] If you were to talk to somebody who didn’t know any of this sort of stuff, and you said to them—maybe they said to you, “I would really like to start exercising. I’ve been thinking about it for a year, or a month, or six years, or 60 years and I’m not doing it so I’ll probably never be able to do it,” and you were to say to them, “Hey, in about 10 to 11 minutes, we could change that.” What do you think the response would be? Crazy! We have to acknowledgize the change we choose. 

 

[00:11:45] This is really a few—oh gosh, weeks, months, maybe? I know I was sitting by the pool when I did the radio show. It was summertime, 2022. It’s about acknowledging you. It’s really the clearing that I use every night to acknowledgize me. I don’t even recall it off the top of my head right now. I have my little Reminder app. It pops up. It’s amazing. 

 

[00:12:07] With that that, even with that, even though I acknowledgize myself every night, I really didn’t, didn’t catch that one. Not that it’s right or wrong, but I wonder how much more magic we could be if we really started to acknowledgize the change that we choose. 

[00:12:27] I don’t mean the change like, oh, I did this one thing a week ago or two weeks ago. It’s like, how about how many things you change every day? Like, holy. That might be actually, as I’m saying that, what I’m going add to that clearing on my Reminder app is like really to look at what did I change.

 

[00:12:44] Yeah. That feels yummy for me. Follow what works for you, but that feels really yummy for me ’cause acknowledging what we change, owning what we change, claiming what we change will ensure that it changes and stays changed and allows us to basically start new every day, rather than going backwards in a sense.

 

[00:13:09] I just wanted to invite you, and I brought my computer because I don’t recall all of it. I am coming to England in October. You don’t have to be in England to join me for all of this awesomeness.

What out of control are you refusing that you could truly be choosing that if you would choose it, would change all realities and non-realities and manifest in totality as your capacity to change?

 

[00:15:56] We do require to be acknowledging how much we change and what we change and all of it. There’s so much more possible, guys. There is so much more possible. If we were willing to be the magic of us, we could change everything at any time with every breath we take. Yes. 

 

[00:16:20] Now, a couple other questions. Early on at the beginning when I read from the reference materials, there were some questions in there. A couple that I wanted to add that you could add to your section of questions that you ask is: What capacity do I have that I’m not yet engaging? and How can I use my capacities to my advantage? Those will be great to add. 

 

[00:16:50] It’s really where you want to look at… I don’t know. For me personally, you’ve heard me talk about it a million times possibly. I use my Reminder app and I use it all the time. I probably have, at this point 60, 70 reminders that pop up every day of questions to ask. 

 

[00:17:07] Use what works for you. Maybe it’s something on your iPad. Maybe it’s a sticky note, whatever it is. People say to me all the time it’s so easy to forget. No. You’re just not choosing to remember. You’re not choosing to choose it and what’s required. 

 

[00:17:24] For me, the Reminder app is what really got me to actually start choosing it every day. I looked at what do I require. Sticky notes aren’t really as good for me ’cause I’m not always in the same place every day. My Reminder app on my phone works great. I have an iPhone. I’m not sure if it’s on other phones and it came with my iPhone. It’s a free app. It’s not something I bought or downloaded separately.

 

[00:17:49] Yeah. All right. One more ’cause I just think this is delicious. 

 

What capacity are you refusing that you truly could be choosing that if you would choose it, would change all realities and non-realities and manifest as everything in your life working amazingly and more life than you’ve ever had before?

 

Everything that is… Right, wrong, good, bad, all-9, POD, POC, shorts, boys, POVADs, and beyonds.® 

 

[00:18:16] If you look at the areas of your life that aren’t the way you would like them to be, what are you required to change? That’s all it is. What do you require to change with that? That’s all it is. 

 

[00:18:30] Now, I make that sound super simple. It can be. If you’re willing to be the capacity of change that you truly be, all of those areas of your life that aren’t the way you would like them to be… changed as if by magic, my sweet friends. 

 

[00:18:44] I wonder what is possible for us and our capacities now. I wonder what it would be like for us to own and claim and acknowledge our greatest capacity of change with every breath we take.

 

Anything that doesn’t allow that, will you destroy and uncreate it all times a godzillion? Right, wrong, good, bad, all-9, POD, POC, shorts, boys, POVADs, and beyonds.®

[00:01:12] So, the tools to start valuing you. I sent out an email and I’m not sure I’ve ever had so much response to an email ever before. In the email, I actually acknowledged me. I actually talked about how I have value for me now. 

 

[00:01:38] As many of you know, if you’ve been hanging around a while, I turned 50 in August so this has been a long time that I’ve not been valuing me. With that said, I have been choosing to value me more, and more, and more and more. 

 

[00:01:58] In this video or in this email that I sent out, what I shared was that a couple months ago, there was a new acquaintance—a person that we were going to have dinner, and then she canceled the dinner. My first thought was, “Wow, she is really missing out.” I mean, wow for me to have that. I don’t mean I forced it like, “Oh, I should think this way. I need to.” No. It was just my, “Wow, she’s really missing out.” 

 

[00:02:29] Now, I don’t mean I’m not missing out by not meeting her either. I don’t mean it was only a one way street. It was just like the acknowledgement of me in that moment and what I can be with people. What I BE with people, not can be. What I BE with people. 

 

[00:02:47] I am so aware now how much hanging out with me in any way, shape, or form—whether you come to a class, or you hang out with me in the pool, or you meet me on an airplane or whatever, private coaching, any of it—I am so aware of the value that I bring. This is huge. This is huge, huge, huge, huge, huge. 

 

[00:03:12] That was what the email was all about. I had so many people reply just going, “Oh my gosh!” I mean, one, this is really cool and amazing, and some were like, “Oh, wow! I’m gonna keep using the tools to get there!” and some was like, “Wow. Can you share more?” 

 

[00:03:26] I was like, “Hey, you know what? I actually can!” I can do it on a radio show because I wonder how many people would really like to start valuing themselves. 

[00:03:36] With that said, let’s talk about that for a moment. When we value ourselves, it does not mean that we devalue anybody else. It’s not like, “Okay, well, now that I’m valuing me, everybody else is crazy, wrong, bad, or not valuable.” That’s not it at all. 

 

[00:03:53] If you don’t have you as your most valuable product, if you don’t have you as valuable in your world, then what you end up doing is putting your value into everyone else. You put everybody else on pedestals. You see everybody else as the source. You look outside of you for answers and direction and all the things rather than valuing you to know that you are valuable. 

 

[00:04:22] You have value. You are valuable and you are valuable on the planet. If you don’t acknowledge that, then chances are you will distract yourself with basically the opposite of that – “I’m not valuable,” “I’m not worthy,” “I shouldn’t be here” blah, blah, blah… all the things. Yeah. 

 

[00:04:44] Everything that just brought up, will you destroy and uncreate it all times a godzillion? Right, wrong, good, bad, all-9, POD, POC, shorts, boys, POVADs, and beyonds.® 

 

That is the Clearing Statement from Access Consciousness®. You can go to www.theclearingstatement.com for more information about how it works but basically, what it does is it changes the energy. 

 

[00:05:01] As I was talking about that, there was a lot of *ugh* energy on it. By running it, it starts to clear it. It doesn’t mean you only ever need to run it once. Sometimes, we need to do it multiple times just to recognize that it is such a phenomenal tool to change things. 

 

[00:05:18] It was actually, gosh, probably seven years ago. I was in a class with Gary Douglas, the founder of Access Consciousness®. I’d went up to the microphone and I’ve asked questions over the years and of Gary in classes. 

 

[00:05:35] He referred to me as Gle-nyce. Now, this is something a lot of people, if they read my name, that’s usually how they pronounce it. I’d never corrected him before. I don’t even recall if I corrected him or if somebody else said it, I don’t recall what happened. 

 

[00:05:52] He just said to me… actually, I think I did. I think he said Gle-nyce, and I said it’s actually Glenyce. He stopped and he looked at me because, you know, I’d been asking him some questions for years. He stopped and he looked at me and he was like, “Why do you not value yourself enough to let me know what your name is?” Something like that. 

 

[00:06:15] It took me aback because I never saw not correcting as not valuing me. I actually saw it as more… I would say, honoring? Or lazy, maybe? And depending on the person. To this day, I don’t always correct people. It really depends how much interaction we’re going to have. 

 

[00:06:38] When I go to change in dress rooms like in clothes stores, I will actually, if they ask me my name because often they’ll write it on the door, I’ll tell them Kim. It’s just for ease for me but I could see what Gary was saying—not until he said it—how much I wasn’t valuing me. Somebody who I talked to, not often but often enough, and I never corrected him until that day. 

 

[00:07:03] I really, really, really went into that. Not from a judgment of me place, but really looking at that from the curiosity of like, “Wow… wow. I have not valued me and my name.” 

[00:07:15] My name to me is—I mean, I joke about it a lot and I love my name. I actually really love my name. I love that I’m almost one of the only Glenyces on the planet. I have heard that there is another one somewhere. There’s certainly some people with the same spelling, but it is actually pronounced Gle-nyce for them and so I love it and yet, I didn’t value me to tell him the correct pronunciation of my name. 

 

[00:07:43] That really, I would say, was probably the start of it for myself to really start getting present with the places and the ways that I wasn’t valuing me. My favorite question, if you’ve been around here for a while, you’ve heard me ask this question a lot. I use it all the time. What I started asking was: What’s the value of not valuing me? I started just asking that of myself. What is the value of not valuing me? What am I getting out of it? 

 

[00:08:13] I know that with that question, a lot of times it brings up this defense of, “I do value me!” and people will say, “Well, there is no value” and stuff like that, and I get it. But what you wanna do is get really vulnerable with yourself with that question if this is something you would like to choose more. If you’d like to value you more, what is the value of not valuing you? What’s it doing for you? Yeah. Yeah. 

 

[00:08:40] It can be so many things. It could be what you saw your parents do to themselves, or what your parents did to you, or what other people and all of that. There’s all sorts of things that can come up. Ultimately, it doesn’t matter what the value is. You just want to acknowledge it, and then if you like the Clearing Statement, I use the Clearing Statement to change it. 

 

Everything that is, I destroyed and uincreate it all. Right, wrong, good, bad, all-9, POD, POC, shorts, boys, POVADs, and beyonds.® 

 

[00:09:08] That’s like tool number one. Start getting present with yourself and asking that question not from judgment, but just from the curiosity of like, “What is this? What is the value of not valuing me?” 

 

[00:09:24] Now, if valuing you is something that you would like to be choosing more of, I invite you to any, of course, of the classes or sessions that I have. We have another Online/In Person Foundation coming up September 15th, 16th, 17th, and 18th.

[00:10:21] Now, tool number two is a little bit similar and not, but it’s asking the question of If I did value me here, what would I choose? What that does is it starts to get you into the space of what you might choose if you valued you. 

 

[00:10:39] Let’s say you were going out for your birthday dinner with friends and they said to you, “Hey, where do you wanna go? It’s your birthday. You get to choose.” You would maybe go straight to, “Oh no, it doesn’t matter. I’m happy to go wherever. I like anything.” Maybe that’s what you would normally do. 

 

[00:10:56] Maybe take a moment. If I valued me here, what would I choose? If I valued me here, what would I choose? Start asking yourself. Looking at those situations or places doesn’t mean you have to even choose it. But if I was valuing me here, what would I choose? 

 

[00:11:17] I used the birthday dinner as an example because that actually came up for me recently when Hubby and I finally had an evening to ourself where we could go for dinner. It’s my birthday dinner, so where did I want to go? I kept thinking of all the places he would like to go. 

 

[00:11:35] It was so bizarre mostly because I didn’t really realize that I did that and maybe it just happened to be. I’m not really sure, but I was so aware of the places he likes to eat. And then, I started asking myself, “Okay. If I valued myself here, what would I choose?” 

 

[00:11:55] And then, I started looking around. I actually asked in a Facebook group because there’s so many places that we go to often and I wanted somewhere new, and just found this most amazing roast beef buffet. Beautiful. Oh my gosh. All handmade, homemade. I mean, obviously not the roast beef, but you know what I mean. 

 

[00:12:13] It was just so delicious that if I wouldn’t have been asking that question, I probably would’ve went somewhere. It still would’ve been great because I also like the places that Hubby likes to go, but just the different energy. It’s like, if I was really valuing me here, what would I choose? 

 

[00:12:29] If you start asking that question but not from the place of, “I have to choose it,” just ask it from the place of, “IF I was… IF I did…” [It] doesn’t mean you have to, and maybe you will, and maybe you won’t, but at least you’ll start being present with you. You’ll start being vulnerable with you. 

 

[00:12:48] Notice both of these tools have to do with vulnerability and a level of presence. That’s because that’s what this is. To value you, you have to be willing to be vulnerable with you. You have to be willing to be present with you.

 

[00:13:05] Now, I wanted to read something. This is from the reference materials from Access Consciousness®. In it, Gary says: 

“If you think it’s inconceivable that you would be of value, then you will never value you.” 

 

If you think it’s inconceivable for you to be of value… 

Anywhere that you’ve decided it’s inconceivable for you to be of value, will you destroy and uncreate all that? Right, wrong, good, bad, all-9, POD, POC, shorts, boys, POVADs, and beyonds.® 

 

[00:13:40] And then, the question that follows that is: 

 

“What is the value you have to offer that you’re not allowing to show up? 

 

[00:13:50] What is the value that you have to offer that you’re not allowing to show up? Value doesn’t mean something in the business. It could, of course, but it doesn’t have to. It could mean lots of different things. What if we don’t try to define it? What if you just ask that of yourself every day? What is the value that I have to offer that I’m not allowing to show up? 

 

Everywhere you’re not allowing it to show up, will you to destroy and uncreate it all? Right, wrong, good, bad, all-9, POD, POC, shorts, boys, POVADs, and beyonds.® 

 

[00:14:22] I have another tool, but I wanna talk about this book for a moment. This is something called a “Rocketbook Fusion.” I’m not sure how well you can see it, but these pages are actually erasable. Once I’m done with my notes and stuff—this was for the recent Foundation class that I facilitated. I just take a damp cloth that comes with it and I just wipe down the pages and it’s gone. 

 

[00:14:51] I have used so much paper. I like to take physical notes—I like to hand write things when I’m in sessions or classes and all that sort of stuff, but it’s not something I would ever keep. So, I end up throwing out a lot of paper. Well, recycling, of course. But this book, I love so much. There will be a link for you if you want to check it out. I just think it’s magical. 

 

[00:15:15] The other thing, and I have yet to do it with this book, but you can take… and I don’t know if you can see it. There’s a little QR code there. You could put something up here – you could write out your day or whatever it is and scan that, and it’ll actually put it wherever you want.

 

[00:15:35] I’ve got mine connected to my Google Docs. Again, I haven’t used it yet because this is mostly just handwritten stuff that I don’t need to keep, but I could. I love it so much. Anyway, I could go on and on, but I wanted to share this because I have it sitting beside me, and I just think it’s brilliant.

 

[00:15:51] The last tool that I’ll talk about—I mean, there’s so many tools with valuing you. The last tool is a tool that I use a lot in all sorts of different ways. This is one of them, and this is one that I was using back when I really started looking at valuing me with that experience with Gary. 

 

[00:16:12] What I did was I would just sit energetically, like, just sit quietly, close my eyes, and energetically, I brought up the energy of not correcting him with my name. I brought that energy up. And then, what I would do was I would run the Crazy Phrase. 

 

[00:16:31] The Crazy Phrase sounds crazy, hence the name. It’s Everything is the opposite of what it appears to be, and nothing is the opposite of what it appears to be. Everything is the opposite of what it appears to be, and nothing is the opposite of what it appears to be. You just say it over and over and over like that. 

 

[00:16:48] What you want to bring up is that energy first. Right now, just take a moment. Bring up a situation or a relationship or somewhere where you know don’t value you. Okay? I know it feels icky, but let’s just run together: 

 

Everything is the opposite of what it appears to be, and nothing is the opposite of what it appears to be.

 

Everything is the opposite of what it appears to be, and nothing is the opposite of what it appears to be. 

 

Everything is the opposite of what it appears to be, and nothing is the opposite of what it appears to be. 

 

[00:17:24] I find running it a few times and then going back to the energy, it’s usually changed and sometimes, it’s changed completely. Sometimes, it’s just changed a little bit. It doesn’t matter. 

 

[00:17:34] But I do want to tap back into it, so to speak, so I’m aware of where it is now. So, I would just go back to that energy. Check in with it. If there’s still something there like a heaviness or an ick with it, then do the Crazy Phrase over and over.

 

[00:17:49] It’s such a magical way to change things that you maybe haven’t been willing to or known how to change. This isn’t where you have to, you know, you’re not dissecting it. You’re not judging it. You’re not doing anything except running the Crazy Phrase over and over. 

 

[00:18:06] The way that I see the Crazy Phrase work is it’s like when you shake up a snow globe and there’s all these little pieces of snow going around—well, obviously not snow, but you know what I mean? What I see that as when we’re running the Crazy Phrase is all that solidity. All the solidity when I wasn’t valuing me, all of that solidity starts to break apart and dissolve and totally eliminate and go away. 

 

[00:18:31] In my experience—you might have a different experience but in my experience, none of these tools a hundred percent the first time I used it. It worked in that it changed in that moment but again, this has been years of me choosing towards valuing me. It doesn’t mean it has to take you years – please be way quicker than me. 

 

[00:18:54] When did I start valuing me? Honestly, I’m not really sure. It probably wasn’t the moment that that gal canceled and I went through, “Wow, she’s missing out!” It probably wasn’t then. It was probably before that. 

 

[00:19:06] With this stuff too, we are changing. Every step of the way, there is change. There is noticeable change. There can be, so celebrate that, too. Don’t look for it being a certain way, or it has to or it won’t be, you can’t celebrate until you have it a hundred percent. I still don’t have it a hundred percent. I’m still getting it. I’m still in the process of choosing and changing it, and I’m celebrating where I’m at with it now. I wonder what else is possible with it that I’ve never even considered.

[00:00:41] Three routines that keep me wealthy. Yes, this is another intro to the upcoming How to Become Money Workbook Book Club we’ve got starting on September 13, 2022.

[00:01:12] So, the three routines that keep me wealthy. First, let me define wealth for you. Wealth is the ability to perceive, to know, to be, and to receive. Wealthy doesn’t necessarily mean “rich” or “have money,” and it may and it usually does because when you’re willing to perceive, to know, to be, and to receive, that’s where the magic is, my sweet friends.

 

[00:01:45] The three routines—the three things that I do every day. Number one is I always start the day with an energetic exercise. 

 

Now, how does that fit into wealth? With my energetic exercises, what I’m doing is I’m strengthening my perceiving, my BEing, my knowing, and my receiving. Doing it energetically is the way that I’ve found to be the quickest way to really exponentialize it. 

 

[00:02:20] I do it on all sorts of things. It might be something business-related. It might be something like money or cash-related. It might be something body-related. I mean, all the things. 

 

[00:02:29] I will utilize an energetic exercise first before I’ll go and do something ’cause it just changes things. I can talk for days and days and years and years about the magic of energetic exercises. I’ve been using them for 20 years. I love them so much. 

 

[00:02:48] There is a Telegram group that I’ve got where I did three free ones. We’ll have the link above or below. If you can’t find it, reach out and I will get it for you. [It’s] just to get a sense of them if you haven’t played with them with me before. 

 

[00:03:01] That is routine number one: energetic exercise. Some people might prefer to call that like a “guided meditation.” That’s totally cool. Do what works for you. 

 

[00:03:11] But basically what you want to do is strengthen your perceiving, your knowing, your being, and your receiving. These are not things in this reality that are even seen as something that would create greater. They’re not even seen as worthy of anything. And yet truly, if you would like to be wealthy, you’ve got to have the perceiving, the knowing, the being, the receiving that you truly be. 

 

[00:03:40] You already BE these. These are not new to you. It’s just that we often ignore them, or put them aside, or pretend they’re not there, or distract yourself with all the doing that is done in this reality. It’s a totally different space and it’s so freaking magical. 

 

[00:03:58] The second routine that I do every day is a little bit more money and cash-related. It is where I actually will go in and I will put into this really cool spreadsheet that I created where I put in what money came in the day before and how it came in. 

 

[00:04:18] Not like if it was credit card or e-transfer, that sort of stuff. More so what did it come in through. Was it a coaching session? Was it a program? Was it affiliate payments? What was it? 

[00:04:29] I’ve got this spreadsheet that goes through each month. I’ve got everything broken down on there and then it transfers it to the first page where it all has it laid out by month, and I can see the whole year to date and all the things.

 

[00:04:44] That is such an inspiration for me to choose ’cause it keeps me really aware. This is another—well, this is number two: Is that awareness? The reason I do that is to stay aware of what’s coming in. 

 

[00:05:00] Actually in the last few months, I’ve also been tracking what’s going out. I did some math, oh gosh, maybe back in March or April or something? I figured out exactly what it costs Hubby and I to live each month. Not business-related, but house-related and personal-related. 

 

[00:05:16] I did that and then I saw what the company pays us, and it was like, hmm… we should have an additional $20,000 somewhere that is not really accounted for. [There’s] somewhere I wasn’t tracking something correctly over the past year. 

 

[00:05:33] I chose to just do the same thing: I track what comes in and I’ve also been tracking what goes out. That really is for my awareness so that I don’t ever go, “Oh my gosh, how did that happen? How did I not have enough money this month?” or “How did this…” you know, whatever it is. 

 

[00:05:50] That is, for me, a routine that keeps me very, very wealthy. It allows me also to revert back to number one which is the perceiving, knowing, being, and receiving of that. 

 

[00:06:03] Number three, the third routine that I do every day is I ask questions. I ask for what I would like. 

[00:06:10] What would I like to create? – I start my day with, and then whatever else. I ask: 

 

What energy, space, consciousness, choice, magic, miracles, mysteries, possibilities, power, and potency can me and my body be to actualize at least [[whatever that amount of money is]] [[today, this month, whatever it is]].

 

[00:06:28] I ask a ton more questions. A ton more questions just to really get, again, the perceiving, knowing, being, and receiving. That’s what asking questions is for: to start perceiving, start becoming aware of the possibilities, aware of the choices, choosing the choices, becoming aware of what choosing those choices created. There’s so many pieces to it that it’s so incredibly magical.

 

[00:06:55] I also have a Start and End Your Business Day. This is specifically business where you can listen to it. It’s got an energetic exercise mixed in with it. 

 

But you basically listen to it and it’s all the questions that I ask. It’s starts in the day and then one you listen to at night because you want to end your day with some different questions. You want to destroy and uncreate everywhere you uninvited money today. Stuff like that where you end the day with different questions.

[00:00:00] Hello and welcome to Tools to Create a Better Life with myself, Glenyce Hughes. Thank you so much for being here. I am so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you. 

 

[00:00:12] Four secrets that you didn’t know about money. This is an invite to my upcoming “How to Become Money Workbook” class that we’ve got starting on September 13, 2022. Of course, if you’re watching this later, it’s always recorded. 

 

If you have not played with this workbook yet, get this workbook, all right? It is freaking magical. It is from Gary Douglas, the founder of Access Consciousness®, and… just wow. Just wow. I go through it with a group of people at least twice a year. I go through it on my own. I have been through it hundreds, if not thousands of times. That is how magical it is. What it does is it invites you to a whole different level of allowance, of no point of view about money. 

 

[00:01:08] Okay, so secret number one—and these are in no order whatsoever. Secret number one is that money doesn’t have value unless you give it value.

 

[00:01:20] Now, here’s the thing. On the planet, there’s been a lot of value given to money. Certain amounts of money have more—well, the more money you have, the more valuable it is or the more valuable you are for having it. All of that insanity when really, if you just take a moment with money and… it’s like paper, or here in Canada, it’s kind of plastic. The actual cash is kind of plastic, or people use their credit cards which are plastic. So much is done online nowadays there’s not even money touched. It’s just numbers on a screen online. And yet, we give it so much value.

 

[00:02:01] The problem with that is that anything we make more valuable than us, we become a victim to it. Whether it’s a person, or money, or an event, or an experience, it doesn’t matter. We become a victim to it. We become basically what I like to call—we’re “money’s bitch.” If we’re making it more valuable than us, if we’re making it more significant than us, we’re its bitch. Yeah. 

 

[00:02:33] A few years ago, I did a call series called “Stop Being Money’s Bitch.” I believe it’s called that. We’ll put a link below. It’s all previously recorded. It’s phenomenal. But do check that out ’cause it’s about that. It’s about stopping to make it more valuable than us, recognizing we’re the most valuable—we are the most valuable in our life. Okay? For us. 

 

[00:02:56] You, in your life, are the most valuable. Me, in my life, [is] the most valuable. But really recognizing that not money, not where you live, not who you’re sleeping with, not what you do – none of that is valuable. But when you give it value, you become less than it. You become it’s bitch. Yeah. 

 

[00:03:15] That’s a secret that most people don’t recognize because it only has the value you give it. What if you stop giving it the value of being more than you? What if you just recognize it as money? 

 

[00:03:30] Secret number two is that your points of views about money is what’s creating your reality.

Dr. Dain Heer, the co-founder of Access Consciousness®, he said for years, your point of view creates your reality which is basically what I just said. Your points of views about money is what’s creating your financial reality. Yeah. Not the government, not the circumstances, not your job, not the business, not the wife, the husband—nothing. It’s your points of views. 

 

[00:04:03] You could get really excited about this and go, “Wait a minute. If it’s my points of views that are creating my financial reality, what points of views could I change to create the financial reality I would like?” There’s a question, my sweet friends! 

 

[00:04:22] Another way to ask that is you could look at a money thing you’ve got going on and you could ask yourself, “What is the point of view that I’m operating from in this situation?

 

I know for myself personally because I’ve been using that for years. It’s actually one of the tools in the How to Become Money Workbook. There’s so many tools in the How to Become Money Workbook. I know! A lot of people read it and don’t even recognize it, and maybe they even read it 50 times [and] they don’t even recognize it.

 

[00:04:51] I actually went through it word by word and wrote out each tool that’s in there. I think there’s something like 45 or so. I don’t remember for sure, but it’s like [a] huge amount of tools in there! But that’s one of them, like, What is the point of view that I’m operating from creating this?

 

[00:05:13] The thing with points of views, guys, is we get to change them. We get to change them. If there’s a point of view—let’s say you go to lack. Let’s say that’s the point of view. That’s one of mine that’s been there for years that comes up often. It’s this lack mentality, this lack point of view. There’s not enough. There’s not enough. There’s not enough. 

Interesting point of view, I have that point of view. Interesting point of view, I have that point of view. Interesting point of view, I have that point of view. Interesting point of view, I have that point of view.

 

There’s not enough. There’s never enough. There’s not enough. There’s never enough. There’s not enough. There’s not enough. There’s not enough. 

 

Interesting point of view, I have that point of view. Interesting point of view, I have that point of view. Interesting point of view, I have that point of view.

 

That’s how you can change points of views. It’s so quick. It’s so ease. The trick, really, is to recognize when you’re operating from a point of view. 

 

[00:06:22] [In] my experience, it’s so easy to buy the lie that that’s just the way it is. “Oh, well, the government did this and that’s why we don’t have any money.” Everybody goes, “Oh yeah, that’s why. Yeah. Yeah.” That’s an interesting point of view but everybody’s talking about it like it’s reality, like it’s just the way it is! It’s not. It’s an interesting point of view. 

 

[00:06:45] That is a secret that most people aren’t even willing to acknowledge is that their points of views are what’s creating their financial reality. You want to change it? Change your point of view. 

 

[00:06:55] The third secret is the more you want money, the less you’ll have it. 

 

The word “want” actually means “to lack.” Lack the money. I want more money – I lack more money. The universe responds, sweet friends! 

[00:07:16] This is something I learned in my years and years and years studying the tools of Access Consciousness®. It’s to really start getting present with the definition of words. The word want, if you were to look it up, it has, I believe, 27 different definitions that mean “to lack.” Only one of them actually means “to have.” So, stop “wanting” money and start “choosing” money. 

 

I’m choosing money today. 

 

What can I be and do different today to actualize more money right away?

 

I’m having more money today. 

 

[00:07:53] Start using words that are actually true. Often when we use the word want, if you just change that to actualize, that’s more what you’re really meaning. “I would like to actualize more money.” “I’m actualizing more money.” That means it’s showing up. 

 

[00:08:10] “Want” means “to lack.” Now, how can you use this for you? Let me tell you. It’s something that we do in all Foundation classes and such, and it’s: I don’t want more money.

 

Say it along with me. We’re gonna say it 10 times. 

 

I don’t want more money. I don’t want more money. I don’t want more money. I don’t want more money. I don’t want more money. I don’t want more money. I don’t want more money. I don’t want more money. I don’t want more money. I don’t want more money.

…which will lighten you up because that’s actually what’s true. You don’t lack money. You don’t lack money. You don’t! Now, how can I say that so blatantly? How can I say that as though it’s fact? It takes us to secret number [four]: money is energy. 

 

[00:08:59] Money isn’t “energy” and “everything is energy, and it’s okay to have money because it’s energy.” It’s not that. I used to do that. I used to really reason and justify me receiving money by that – “Oh, money is energy” and all that significance. 

 

[00:09:15] No, money is just energy. Money has no different energy than dog shit. That’s also something that’s talked about in this book about how it’s no different. My body is energy. This beautiful sweater from my sweet friend Karen is energy. My microphone is energy. The trees outside are energy. The dog shit—I don’t think we have any in our yard, but we probably got cat shit out there somewhere—is energy. It’s just energy. Money is energy. 

 

[00:09:46] That’s how I know you don’t lack money. You don’t lack energy! You don’t lack energy. You don’t lack money. I don’t want money. And then looking at money is energy. 

 

[00:09:59] If we don’t make it significant, go back to secret number one. If we clear our points of views about it, if we stop wanting it and start choosing it, then money can show up as if by magic. 

 

[00:10:14] When I say “as if by magic,” I don’t mean that I’m going to close my eyes and I’m gonna open them and there’ll be, you know, millions of dollars in front of me. Although, let’s take a moment and give that a sec. Damn! What would it take? I’m not saying it’s not possible, but what you want to recognize is that it isn’t about that. 

[00:10:33] So often people go, “Okay, well, money is energy and I just want it as if by magic so I’m gonna sit on my couch, I’m not gonna do nothing, and I’m just gonna wish and hope and pray and it’s gonna show up.” 

 

[00:10:43] That has not been my experience so far. I ask. I take action. I continuously clear my points of views. I continuously be different energies. I actualize. I receive. There’s being and doing as part of it. There’s two pieces to it and way more. That’s pretty limiting to say there’s two. 

 

[00:11:11] Please recognize that if you’re just sitting around hoping, wishing, praying that it shows up in front of you when you close your eyes for 10 seconds ’cause you’ve asked for it, that might not be it. You might want to start asking: What can I be and do different today to actualize the money I’m asking for right away?

 

[00:11:30] Something else that I learned. There was one time—oh gosh. Three? Four? I’m not even sure how many years ago, that I actually went through the 13 questions in the workbook every day with a group of people for a hundred days. Yes, I am that much. As you can also tell on my makeup, I’m just that much. I’m just that much.

 

[00:11:54] What I finally received—the awareness I finally had after probably 60 times of going through the questions was money is energy. Money is everything. Money is all the things I mentioned before and everything else. Cash, though, is cash. 

 

[00:12:15] If you would like to pay your rent, you probably want to be asking for cash, also. If you hear me, you’ll often hear me say money and wealth and cash. Cash is money, but so is a hug. So is a rainstorm. So is cat shit, dog shit. Those things can all show up in a day and I want to make sure I’m asking for the cash I would like, also. 

 

I wonder what it would be like for all of the money and all of the wealth and all of the cash that you’ve never even considered asking for showing up as if by magic?

 

What could you be and do different today to actualize all of the money, the wealth, and the cash that you would like? 

 

Yeah. Yeah. Awesome, guys.

[00:00:00] Hello, and welcome to Tools to Create a Better Life with myself, Glenyce Hughes. Thank you so much for being here. I am so incredibly grateful for you. 

 

Behind the Scenes of Creating My Magical Life. I actually had a gal comment on a Facebook post lately that said, “Thank you for sharing some of the questions that you use to create your magical life.” I was like, I really liked that! So, that’s what inspired the title today. 

 

[00:00:32] Let’s just say first off, if you’re watching this video, you will see that I have blue and purple and kind of mermaid colored eyebrows and eyeliner and lipstick… ’cause I’m awesome like that! Yes, I do love to play with color. I love to play with makeup. I love to play with paints on canvases. There’s all sorts of ways that I love to play. 

 

[00:01:02] Recently—some of you already know this—I have been playing with a new company with magnetic eyelashes. They actually have a whole line of a bunch of things. The only thing I’ve used so far is the magnetic eyelashes and I love them. [00:01:27] All right, so, behind the scenes of my magical life—of creating my magical life. To start with, the first thing almost that I do is I ask. What would I like to create today? What would I like to create today? 

 

A lot of times when we ask a question, we assume that we’re looking for an answer and we want to get specific. “Oh, I want to create my to-do list done” or “I want to create the bathroom being cleaned” or something like that. That’s not what I’m asking when I ask this question. In fact, it’s very rare for me to have words when I ask that question. I ask, “What would I like to create today?” and there’s all the energies that I’d like to create today. 

 

[00:02:19] Now, I’m willing at this point to be out of control so that I don’t have to figure out how that should show up. I’m willing to go whatever it takes, I’m creating these energies. I’m BEing. I’m actualizing these energies. However they’re gonna show up, I’m having this. 

 

If I do have some specifics in my life, then that’s totally cool. We can add them. But for the most part, what would I like to create today? Every time I ask it, it’s just so freaking yummy! It’s an energetic ask. 

 

[00:03:00] What do I love about asking that question? For me—and if you’ve been around here for a while, you’ve heard all of my stories about choosing victim more often than not. What that question does for me is it reminds me [that] I get to choose today. I get to create my day today. It’s up to me. What would I like to create today? Not what would the government like to do to me today, what would the weather like to do to me. I’m the creator of my life and my living. What would I like to create today? Yeah… yeah. 

 

What that does is it invites me into the space of I’m actually the creator of my life and my living and I get to choose. What am I choosing?

 

[00:03:50] The next thing is the question of Who am I today and what grand and glorious adventures can I have? 

 

Who am I today and what grand and glorious adventures can I have? Who am I today? 

 

What I love about that question—and it took me so many years to get here because for so many years, I didn’t really use it. I didn’t really get it. It made no sense to me. I’m Glenyce today, I was Glenyce yesterday, what are you talking about? 

 

[00:04:20] Until I finally heard Dr. Dain, one of the co-founders of Access Consciousness®, speak about it in a different way. Finally, I heard it differently. What he talked about—what it invited me to look at was when we ask that – who am I today? – that means I can be who I was yesterday. 

Let’s say I was cranky with Hubby yesterday. I can be that person today. I can bring that crankiness with me today or… who am I today? Am I the cranky wife? Would I like to be the cranky wife or is there something else? 

 

[00:04:55] Again, it takes me back to being I’m the creator of my life and living. I can choose cranky wife—absolutely. That is one of the bazillion choices I have. If it doesn’t work for me, then I don’t have to choose it. It’s just a choice! It’s not a good choice. It’s not a bad choice. It’s not a right choice. It’s not a wrong choice. It’s just a choice! That’s what this question is. 

 

Who am I today? Am I the person who puts on wild makeup? Am I the person who takes a nap in the afternoon? Am I a person who takes action? Am I the person who tells people to go screw themselves? Like, who am I today? It just invites me to knowing I get to choose every 10 seconds. 

 

[00:05:37] The second part of that – and what grand and glorious adventures can we have? – if you’re watching this, if you’re listening to this, guys, you are like me and you have a desire for adventure beyond anything else. You might have had it beat out of you. You might have had talked yourself out of that. You might say, “No, I don’t like that anymore, Glenyce,” it doesn’t matter. That’s the energy that you’re looking for now. 

 

Adventure doesn’t have to be going outside the house. Adventure can be in your house. Adventure can be all by yourself in your house. Adventure can be traveling the world. There’s billions of ways. Who am I today and what grand and glorious adventures am I going to have? Oh, yeah. Yes. 

 

[00:06:21] I also do some energetic exercises to start my days. Many of you are familiar with it. You’ve joined me in some of them. We’ve got some links below with different ways. There’s some free ones in a Telegram group that you can access. 

 

[00:06:35] I’ve got, of course, some paid ones. I do some one-one energetic exercises with people. You can find all that information above or below. [00:06:53] It’s basically similar to the question of what would I like to create today, but I energetically get present with my day and I shift and move and change anything that isn’t going to create what I’m asking for, basically. It’s kind of hard to put into words but that is another thing that I do every day to really get my magical day going so that I can really, again, acknowledge that I’m the creator of my life and living. I’ve got a choice. I can have it happen to me and be all bitchy about it and blame other people or situations and all that or I can acknowledge I’m the creator of my life and living and choose what I would like to create today. 

 

[00:07:42] The other thing that I do—and I would love to tell you I do this a 100% of the time and that would be a big lie. I do it as often as I do it. It’s to be what we call in Access Consciousness® “aggressively present.” 

 

[00:07:58] “Aggressively present” means no matter what’s going on, no matter what’s occurring, you don’t stop being present. For some of us, there can be a smell that can get us out. We just *poof* we’re gone. We’re totally disconnected. There can be an energy. For some people/a lot of people, anger can be an energy that *boop* you’re gone. You’re not present anymore. You’re totally disconnected. 

 

Aggressively present means no matter what you’re smelling, no matter what you’re hearing, no matter what you’re aware of, no matter what’s going on, you are aggressively present in that moment. That’s what I strive for a hundred percent of the time. I’m not there yet and what else is possible? But that is what I strive for. 

 

[00:08:45] Let me tell you why I strive for that. That is where the magic is. The more that you’re present, the more aware you’re going to be when something has a yummy energy to it. When somebody says,” Hey, do you wanna go to the park and throw a Frisbee?”, if you’re aggressively present, when they ask that and it’s going to create greater for you, there’s gonna be an expansiveness, a “yes” energy for you on that. 

 

But if you’re not present and you’re scrolling on Facebook or you’re just staring out the window, you’re not present and they say, “Do you want to go to the park and throw a Frisbee?”, you might go, “Oh, it kind of looks like it’s going to rain so no, I don’t think so.” Maybe you’d miss something that would’ve created greater. Who knows? 

 

[00:09:34] So, that aggressive presence is something I’m striving for, choosing every day, all day. It will allow you to follow the energy to whatever is gonna create greater. It also will allow you to be aware when things aren’t creating greater—when you’re making choices that are not creating something you would.  

 

[00:09:56] I had this occur recently and it shows up in many different ways, so this is just one example. There’s a group of people that I’m playing with in England. I will be going there in October with a bunch of classes in smaller cities around and, of course, also in London. One of them had not finished what I needed her to finish before we could move forward. She told me, say, a week earlier that, “Hey, I just need a little bit more time with this.” And then she came back like a week later and just said, “I need more time,” and it was like, no. It was just no, and it was only ’cause I was present. 

 

[00:10:35] No, she’s wrong? No! It was just no. And so I said to her, “Hey, you know what? Actually, no. We’re gonna move forward today. I wonder if you’re aware that creating something in your area wouldn’t actually work.” Instead of going into, “Well, why isn’t she getting this done?” or “Oh, I should give her more time. She needs more” – none of that. I didn’t need any story. It was like, “Oh, she would like more time. It’s a no.” It was very, very clear to me. It’s a no more time and… wow. 

[00:11:04] What if she’s aware of something? She’s not being slow. She’s not holding it up. She’s none of that. She’s aware of something. Maybe she wasn’t aware she was aware of something, and what if she was? And so when I said her that, she’s like, “That’s it.” Like, how does it get any better than that? But if I wasn’t willing to be aggressively present, I could have went into a lot of different stories with that.

 

[00:11:30] That aggressive presence is something. How I do that for myself is I ask: 

 

What energy, space, consciousness, choice, magic, miracles, mysteries, possibilities, power, and potency can me and my body be to be the aggressive presence that we truly be? Anything that doesn’t allow that, will you destroy and uncreate it all? Right, wrong, good, bad, all-9, POD, POC, shorts, boys, POVADs, and beyonds.®. 

 

By asking that, it just reminds me and allows me to choose to be that aggressive presence that I truly be.

I’m not sure when this will air, but on August 28th here at the acreage. I don’t do them online. [00:13:10] Along with the questions and being present–basically with the being present, it’s then following the energy. You follow the lightness. Pay attention to the contraction and that is where the magic is in that. And then, it’s about choosing. It’s really about choosing. 

 

[00:13:31] Choosing and choice, I know for a lot of people, they seem really difficult and yet, Gary Douglas who’s the founder of Access Consciousness®, he has a really great paragraph—well, the whole book is great—in the Advanced How to Become Money Workbook. He talks in there about if you were walking on a—let’s say you’re walking on a road and you come up to a hole that if you stepped into it, you would fall down and break a bone, okay? You would choose, probably, to walk around it. That’s a choice. So if you look at your day today, you could even look backwards and look at the choices you’ve made so far. 

 

[00:14:16] A lot of times, our choices are very habitual. We get up, we go to the bathroom, we brush our teeth, we make coffee, we go on social media. Often it’s just the very same thing everyday. 

What you may want to do, if you really want to start looking at choice, is to really start paying attention to the space of, again, being aggressively present so that every choice you have, you’re present with. You’re not going on automatic. You’re not just making a cup of coffee because it’s morning. Did your body ask for a cup of coffee? Did you ask your body if it would like a cup of coffee? Start looking at those things. 

 

[00:14:59] What that will do is allow you to be more present and aggressively present with the other choices. With things that you go, “Oh, I don’t know what to do here,” you’ll start to. With that light and that heavy or expansive, contractive, however it shows up for you, or the knowing – you just know or you know not to, however it shows up, it’ll get so much clearer with those things.

 

[00:15:22] That’s how it showed up for me. There’s still times in my day that there’s an automatic. Absolutely. Sometimes, I will trust that I will do automatic so I will move things. My coffee pot – I use like an espresso type thing. I will move that to say the stove. When I get up in the morning and I automatically go to the coffee maker and my little thingy thing isn’t there, I have to take a minute and then I remember, oh, I put it on the stove. Oh, I put it on the stove so I would remember to ask, “Hey body, would you like this?” You might need to do that. 

 

[00:15:57] You might need to. If you normally get up [and] go straight to your computer, you might need to shut your computer down before you go to bed. So when you get up and you go straight to your computer and it’s not on if it usually is, it was like, “Oh, wait a minute. Body, would you like to be on the computer right now?” 

 

It might. It might. I’m not saying there’s gonna be a no, you just want to start getting present, which will allow you to follow the energy, which will allow you to choose quick, quick, quick, quick, quick as if by magic.

 

[00:16:27] The other thing throughout the day in terms of creating my magical life is really clearing and being present. Again, we always go back to the aggressive presence. But really clearing what I call the DJCCPSERRJs – decisions, judgements, conclusions, computations, projections, rejections, expectations, separations, refined judgments about whatever it is, because those will be what puts us into automatic. Those will be what puts us into not even considering another choice. Those will be what puts us into “this is just the way it is and I have no choice,” those sorts of energies. 

 

[00:17:02] If you’re going into a meeting and you’re not looking forward to it because it takes too long: 

 

All the DJCCPSERRJs I have about this meeting, I destroy and uncreate them all. Right, wrong, good, bad, all-9, POD, POC, shorts, boys, POVADs, and beyonds.®. 

 

[00:17:17] Start clearing those because otherwise, you’re projecting, you’re expecting, you’re deciding, you’re judging, and you’re creating. You create with those energies. In fact, you probably create, if we’re honest, more of your life with those energies than anything else. The more that you’re willing to clear those, the more ease it will be for you to truly start choosing what you would like to choose. Going back to the first question in the morning, what would I like to create today? 

 

[00:17:45] In this case, let’s say you know you have the meeting, you know you don’t like them, it always goes too long. In the morning, you say, “What would I like to create today?” You get that yummy, expansive, delicious energy. And then you think about the meeting and you go, “Hey, I’d like to create the meeting to be total ease and joy and glory.” Ask for that, too. I’m not saying when we ask what would I like to create, there’s never words. There might be, and that’s totally cool if there is.

 

[00:18:10] The last thing I’ll talk about now—there’s probably a bazillion more things I could talk about in terms of these tools with my life and my living and all the magic. It’s the wonder. I wonder… 

 

I wonder all the time, like, I wonder what that meeting will be like. I wonder what it would be like to have more fun today than I’ve ever had before. I wonder how many profitable revenue streams that are fun for me could show up as if by magic. I wonder. I’m constantly wondering, and that is a creative energy for me that really opens me up to getting out of those DJCCPSERRJs and into the space of possibilities.

[00:02:01] Ultimate Magical Life Daily Checklist. This is something you want to be looking at every day. Maybe even every day when you wake up like first thing in the morning, checking in. 

 

[00:02:12] Number one, top of my list, anyway, is choose to have a magical day. Actually, let me reword that. Choose to create a magical day. 

 

It’s about choosing your day. I know we often feel like things happen to us or that we don’t actually have a say. Things just occur and that’s it. What if we’re the creators of our lives and our living? 

 

[00:02:40] One of the questions when I was really looking at this for myself — this was many years ago now, probably once I started studying the tools of Access® which was 11 years ago now. I was really looking at choosing, what does that mean? If I wanna choose a magical day, what does that mean? 

 

[00:02:59] There’s a couple pieces with that. One, yes, we can choose a magical day in terms of, “Okay, I would like this to happen and this to happen and this to happen and this to happen.” That’s one thing and absolutely, you can ask for what you would like, but often when we do that, we have an idea of what should happen based on our interesting points of view. When I’m speaking about choosing to have a magical day, it’s a little bit different in the sense of yes, I still have my asks, absolutely. But there’s also this space of no matter what shows up, I’m choosing magic. 

[00:03:36] Even if I asked for $10,000 and instead I got a bill for $20,000, I still have a choice. I could go into the drama-trauma. I could go up into the upset. I could go into how I’m not magical and how wrong I am. That’s one of the bazillion choices I have, or I could remind myself, “Hey, I’m choosing to have a magical day” and I would ask another question. 

 

[00:04:00] In those sorts of situations, the other question that I would probably ask myself is What is right about this I’m not getting? What is right about this I’m not getting, because if we don’t go to the judgment or the decision, the conclusion that it’s wrong or it’s bad, what might it be contributing? 

 

[00:04:18] One thing I know for sure is the universe always has our back. We always have our back. Things are being created. We’re creating things. Look at me, I’m trying to word it. That was a victim statement. Things are happening – no. We are creating things that are gonna create greater. It’s just where are we gonna put our energy when we create them? Into how bad and awful which doesn’t create anything except more bad and awful, or into what’s right about this I’m not getting, what’s required, what actions’ required and puts us into movement, into action. 

 

[00:04:52] Choosing to have a magical day is yes, asking for what you would like. Look at your day. If you’ve got a meeting coming up and you would just love to have so much fun at that meeting, ask for that. Absolutely! But also, don’t get derailed if it turns into a gloomy doomy meeting and nobody’s happy and it’s not fun at all. Be like, “Okay, so what fun could I create here? How much fun could I have? Even if they’re not choosing fun, how much fun could I have?” 

 

That’s the number one on your checklist: Choose to have a magical day.

[00:05:24] Now, the other thing, the next thing—again, these are all that I love and use so do them in whatever order you like—curiosity and wonder. 

 

You wanna make sure that you stay curious and you stay in the wonder

 

I wonder what will occur at that meeting. 

I wonder how much magic we can have in that meeting. 

I wonder how much fun we can have in that meeting. 

I wonder what it would be like to laugh so hard I cry in that meeting. 

 

[00:05:52] Wonder, but not from—again, I kind of talked about it in number one—this place of, “It has to be fun and it has to turn out this way and it needs to [be] like that!” That’s not the energy. 

 

It’s really from relaxation, actually. You’re still asking for what you would like, and you’re willing to change it no matter what shows up. If it doesn’t show up as fun, you could still have fun. You could have fun with the upset. I mean, there’s so many ways to have fun. I wonder… I wonder how many ways. And so this space of curiosity and wonder and just wondering constantly.

 

[00:06:27] What wonder does—at least what it does for me—is it gets me out of the conclusion. It gets me out of those things I was talking about: the decision, the judgment, the conclusion, the expectation ’cause I’m wondering. I’m wondering what a magical day would be like today. I wonder what it would be like to create magic today beyond what I’ve ever created before. I wonder what that would be like. 

 

[00:06:50] I’m saying it a little bit remote, like robotically, but when I wonder, I truly wonder. I’m like, I wonder… I wonder what that would be like. I wonder what it would be like to have so much magic show up today that I’m amazed. Gosh, I wonder what that would be like. I truly wonder. When I say those words, I don’t mean we’re just going, “I wonder what it would be like.” Not robotically. I wonder… truly wonder what it would be like.

 

That is the second one on your checklist. Make sure you pack your curiosity and wonder. All right. 

 

[00:07:28] The third one on your checklist—you’re gonna want to put this on your checklist and actually have it throughout your day on your checklist, please—is this energetically expanding out.

 

[00:07:41] It’s something that I learned in Access® and I attribute this tool to allowing me to me being able to go out into public again. For many years prior to me studying Access®, my life was getting smaller and smaller and smaller because I was contracting smaller and smaller and smaller when I went out into public like a mall or a city fair or stuff like that.

 

[00:08:11] It was so intense on me because I would contract ’cause in a sense, I was trying to protect myself from all the energy. But it was totally opposite of what was required because when I started Access® and I learned about expanding out energetically, oh my gosh. That’s exactly what you wanna do throughout your day. The more expanded you are, the more of you you’re being. When we contract, any energy is gonna feel like a punch. When you are expanded… yeah. 

 

[00:08:44] I can go to the mall for days now. I do! Yes. In West Edmonton mall here in Alberta, they have a hotel and they have conference centers and I’ve done five-day Foundations there. Well, four-day Foundations and a Bars Class. I mean, all sorts of things. I love going to the mall now. Before, I wanted to go. I loved going, but I would last about 20 minutes and I’d have to go. It was too much. 

 

[00:09:08] Expanding out allows you to be all of you, which allows you to be the magic of you ’cause you’re not contracted. You’re not gonna be at the effect of anything when you are expanded out. When you’re contracted, you will be at the effect of everything and everyone.

 

If you need to, put a timer on your phone. Put sticky notes around your office. Whatever you need to do to remind yourself, to expand out. 

 

[00:09:33] I’ve now been doing this for 11 years. I still do it multiple times a day. This isn’t something that, at least for me, not something that I’m gonna do maybe for a year and then I’m good. No, I continuously expand out and expand out farther and farther and farther, and you’ll get to where your set point is way more expanded than your even being right now as we talk about being expanded out. Your set point will get more and more and more expanded, which means the magic you be will be more and more and more. How’s that get any better than that? 

 

[00:10:09] The fourth one on the checklist is pragmatic tools to change distraction. 

 

When I was looking at this in terms of what do I do throughout my day, that’s the number one in my experience with regards to creating a magical day or magical life. It’s that we allow distractions to stop us, to slow us down, to derail us – we do all sorts of things. We put way more value in distraction than in creation, and that’s one of the things. 

 

[00:10:45] Now, this probably wasn’t until, say, 2013-ish for me when I started just getting really present with myself and asking. No matter what was going on, I would ask, “Truth, am I distracting myself with this?” 99% of the time, that was a yes. 

 

[00:11:04] When I would know to ask, it was when things were heavy, when I was frustrated, when things weren’t going the way I wanted them to, when I decided it should be a different way, when I was trying control, that’s when I would ask that and it was always yes, of course, I’m distracting myself with this! 

 

[00:11:19] When you’re doing that – when you catch yourself distracting, whether you’re just scrolling on social media to distract yourself, you’re gossiping to a friend to distract yourself, you’re gossiping to yourself to distract yourself, you’re gossiping to others – whatever, it doesn’t matter. You get the idea. When you’re doing that, ask yourself: Truth, am I distracting myself here? If you get a yes, then, “What can I be and do different to change this?” Go do something totally different. 

 

[00:11:51] If you’re really distracting yourself with what to post on social media to grow your business, stop. Go outside. Go for a walk. Go phone a friend and have some fun. Go have a nap. Go do something totally different. Get yourself out of that energy so that you can start to change that. 

 

Truth, am I distracting myself with this? If it’s a yes, then okay, cool. What can I be and do different to change this? And then, go be and do something different to change it, my sweet friends. 

 

[00:12:21] The fifth thing on the checklist is something that a lot of people do in a way already. I’m gonna invite you to do it a little bit differently, which is be gratitude. Be gratitude. Don’t do gratitude. Don’t do grateful. BE gratitude. 

[00:12:43] Now, what do I mean with that? What I mean is it’s a totally different space than having a gratitude list. I’m grateful for so and so, I’m grateful for this, I’m grateful for that. What I used to do when I made that list was, if I was really honest, it was actually a judgment list. 

 

[00:13:02] Let’s say Hubby had done something that day that just really made me so happy. Guess what? He makes the list. Yep, I am grateful for Hubby today. What’s hidden behind that is because he did this thing, which is judgment. The next day if he didn’t do whatever it was that I decided he should do, then he doesn’t make the list. No, I didn’t put I’m not grateful for Hubby, but that’s pretty much what I’m doing when I’m making those lists. If lists work for you, please don’t stop doing them. I just want to give you another way to look at it. 

 

[00:13:34] What if we could be gratitude for everything and everyone in our life? Right? What if we could be grateful for sunshine, and we could be grateful for rain, and we could be grateful for snow, and we could be grateful for tornadoes, and we could be grateful for hurricanes? You get the idea. What if we just be gratitude? 

 

[00:13:56] The way that I can get myself there quickly is: 

 

What energy, space, consciousness, choice, magic, miracles, mysteries, possibilities, power, and potency can me and my body be to be the gratitude that we truly be? Anything that doesn’t allow that, right, wrong, good, bad, all-9, POD, POC, shorts, boys, POVADs, and beyonds.®

Anything in that question when I ask about being the gratitude, anything that I’m using not to be the gratitude will just totally dissipate and I can actually be the gratitude I truly be.

[00:15:27] The final one on your checklist—I wasn’t actually gonna put this one on because it’s a little bit difficult to talk about, but you know what, I put it on anyway—is to receive. In order to create a magical day, a magical life, you have to be willing to receive. Receiving the good, the bad, and the ugly. 

 

[00:15:52] Let’s go back to that example of the meeting. We’re gonna have this meeting and we’re gonna have so much fun at this meeting. And then, you walk in and all of a sudden you’re just aware that nobody else there wants to have fun. What we often do is put up barriers to that. We don’t want to receive that. We don’t want to know other people don’t want to have fun. We don’t want to know that other people hate their job or hate their work or whatever it is. We put up these barriers, so we’re not willing to receive it. 

[00:16:18] And then, there’s all sorts of stories we attach and all sorts of crazy. We go, “Oh, well. That wasn’t a fun meeting because I’m not magical enough” or “that wasn’t a fun meeting because I didn’t do something right” or whatever insanity instead of if you’re willing to receive, “Wow, nobody else in the room is willing to have fun here. Huh! Okay. What would I like to choose? Oh, I’d like to still have fun!” 

 

[00:16:44] When I talk about receiving, it’s something you wanna be present with every day. I feel like I’m probably at 0.05% of what I could receive on the planet and I’m choosing more and more with it every day. I’m asking more and more every day, but the receiving piece is a whole different muscle. It’s a whole different muscle. I do a lot of energetic exercises myself to really be the infinite being, be the perceiving, the knowing, the receiving all of those energies and it’s something you just wanna be aware of. 

 

[00:17:26] Throughout your day, you want to recognize when you’re not receiving. Maybe you start noticing that you go to judgment when you’re not receiving. “Oh, you know what? They’re grumpy today, and they shouldn’t be like that. They need to not be grumpy. We’d had a fun meeting if they would’ve been grumpy.” 

 

[00:17:41] What’s really going on here? “Oh, wow. I didn’t want to acknowledge that they didn’t wanna have fun today” or whatever it is. I mean, I’m using a very simple example but you can apply it in every area of your life.

 

[00:17:53] It’s not about making the people right or wrong, or even making yourself right or wrong. It’s just recognizing that if you’re willing to receive, if you’re willing to infinitely receive, that’s a whole other level of magic. It’s a whole other level of magic. 

What energy, space, consciousness, choice, magic, miracles, mysteries, possibilities, power, and potency can us and our bodies be to be the infinite receiving that we truly be? Anything that doesn’t allow that, will you destroy and uncreate it all times a godzillion? Right, wrong, good, bad, all-9, POD, POC, shorts, boys, POVADs, and beyonds.®
